General review of dust studies made by U S Bureau of Mines; conclusion is that, with reasonable precautions, such as are now commonly used, there need be no particular harm to workers in those places as far as dust disease is concerned; precautions stressed include wet drilling, adequate ventilation, wetting down muck piles, timing blasting, and allowing sufficient time before returning to face after blasting.
