8-ft 6-in. diam pipe line replaces 10 × 7-ft wooden flume which carried water along Provo Canyon, Utah, to Olmsted hydroelectric plant; design features include steel pedestal supports, flexible joints over stretch of poor soil, and double siphoning spillway at lower end of pipe line; photographs.
