Description of recent innovation in design and construction of mine headframes; reinforced concrete headframe was built by using sliding forms; shaft is rectangular in shape, 13 ft 6 in. by 18 ft inside steel, with two skip compartments 6 ft 6 in. by 6 ft 6 in.; cage compartment 13 ft by 7 ft; manway, pipe compartment, and counter weight compartment; design of headframe; construction and details; hoist house; mine hoists.
