Illustrated description of test house that combines solar with electric auxiliary heat to minimize installation expense; data on heat collector and its operation; max heat striking outside of collector is 314 Btu per sq ft per hr, 200 Btu of which are receivable; four-room house is insulated with rock wool, aluminum reflective insulation and rigid fiber board; windows on south side of house are triple glazed.
