Precast tile beam floor slabs
Floor slabs of five all ceramic homes in Texas project are supported by precast tile beams bridged by filler or spanner tile; slab proper is poured concrete topping either 1 1/2 in. or 3 in. thick; joistile beams precast to length on building site; floor slab, not tied into walls, prevents breaks in walls due to "curling" and expansion and contraction of slab; air is drawn under slab, cooled by water vaporizers, and pulled up through floor and wall cavities to cool house.
