Stability of thin-walled compression members
Method of computing crippling strength of thin walled compression members; although derived primarily for stainless steel, method is readily adaptable to other metals; also, although tests were conducted on small sections characteristic of aircraft structures, principles discussed are equally applicable to large scale members common to civil engineering practice. (See also - discussion n 9 Nov p 1523-30)
