Plant of Mengel Co, Fulton, NY, with 60,000 sq ft area has hard concrete floor which has to stand severe wear from heavy trucks; factory is heated with steam unit heaters with anemostat diffusers; flat roof provided with 1-in. insulated board over precast concrete channels; new type of roof framing made possible longer spans, wide column spacing and minimum height of building.
