Two large spodumene-bearing pegmatite dikes outcrop along side and crest of hill overlooking Hill City; Bur of Mines took 61 large channel samples from shaft, and 3 from face of open cut; 8 diamond core drill holes were completed to investigate attitude of one of dikes at depth; analysis; beneficiation tests indicate that about 78% of lithia, in concentrate containing 4.17% lithia, can be recovered by flotation.
