Illustrated description of canal paver employed in Pasco system, Columbia Basin, for production of smooth, dense and well compacted asphaltic concrete lining requiring no seal coat; heated screed was weighted with 3500 lb of sand bags thus eliminating unsatisfactory trailing rollers on machine in early stages of project; asphalt was hot mixed at central plant.
