Determining stability of asphalt pavement by graphic means
Replacement of street railroad by trackless trolley in Regina, Sask, required construction of heavy duty pavement; 2 1/2-in. asphaltic top course on 6-in. concrete base, except at stops where 9-in. reinforced concrete pavement was laid; charts developed which show stability values for asphalt mixes with various percentages of asphalt, based on tests; 6.2% asphalt in mixture gave best results.
