Scheme for natural classification of landslides
It is pointed out that none of existing classifications takes into account fact that landslides are historical-geological processes, dependent on history of development of given region, and having history of their own; scheme here suggested permits of regional application only; by generalizing regional classification, it is possible to work out general classification of landslides with map of their distribution.
