A new air pressure piling system
Reinforced piling operations being carried out in erecting 7-story warehouse; process consists of inserting steel tube into ground to required depth, removing core and subsoil water, and then gradually withdrawing tube by air pressure and filling vacated space with concrete, which is forced into surrounding soil by compressed air at 100 lb. per sq. in. pressure.
