Discharge formula and tables for sharp-crested suppressed weirs
Derivation of new empirical discharge formula develoed by mathematical study of results of series of weir experiments made at Cornell University by E. W. SCHODER, and K. B. TURNER; variable exponent, increasing with head, replaces customary fixed exponent (1.5), thus making it possible to obtain accurate discharges, even at low heads, by comparatively simple form of coefficient.
