Study was made of effect of steam curing at temperatures between 50 and 200 deg. cent. on resistance of portland-cement mortars to action of solutions of sulphates of sodium, magnesium and calcium; changes in volume and in tensile strength on exposure to sulphate solutions at 21 deg. cent.; effect of steam curing on tensile and compressive strength of mortars and concrete was also studied.
