Barytes aggregates and grout intrusion method used in shield for materials testing reactor
Composition and construction of biological shield for Materials Testing Reactor at U S Atomic Energy Commission National Research Testing Station in Idaho; by proper selection of grade of barytes, workable mix was designed which produced concrete with satisfactory shielding properties and minimum density of 218 lb per cu ft by conventional placing, and 224 lb per cu ft by intrusion grouting method.
