New double-acting Sulzer two-cycle diesel engine
Bench trials of first large Sulzer double-acting engine for marine service, were carried out at Winterthur; engine is 8-cylinder unit with output of 7600 b.hp. at 106 r.p.m.; cylinder bore 27 9/16 in. and stroke 3 ft. 11 1/4 in.; it is to be installed in single-crew motorship "Tajandoen."
