Design of cableways with carrying cable anchored at both ends
Method is developed for calculation of multispan cableway, with carrying cable subjected only to loads perpendicular to its axis, and parallel stress component carried by traction cable; solutions are obtained for particular cases of rigidly fixed intermediate towers with cable gliding on supports, and mobile intermediate towers with cable fixed to them.
