Tests conducted on reinforced concrete bowstring girder bridge to assess whether it was safe to carry heavy indivisible piece of machinery for Neyveli Lignite Corp weighing 130 tons including weight of tractor-trailer, which was far in excess of design load; test indicated that bridge can carry load of about 130 tons provided vehicle is moved slowly along center of bridge floor.
