Dynamic analysis of bilinear inelastic beams
Method of analysis for beams of elastic-linear is presented; simply supported beam of constant cross loading is presented; simply supported beam of constant cross section is used as example in development of method and to show its application; procedure consists of determination of relationship between resisting forces and deflections at mass points based on stress-strain law and compatibility of deformations; equations of motion are formulated and solved in terms of geometric quantities and controlled through curvatures and curvature rates.
