Prop is conventional only in so far as it is ram and cylinder unit with ranges of lengths, extensions and caps which have come to be accepted as standard; first noticeable feature is smooth streamlined exterior which will do much to eliminate minor injuries to operators; reduction in weight can amount to as much as 20%; prop cylinder is fully armored against impact and abrasion by sandwich combination of steel sheathing and polyvinyl chloride.
