Laboratory and industrial experiments on production of fluxed sinter using high basicity sinter (ferroflux) as flux instead of raw limestone have shown that sintering machine productivity can be raised by more than 10% and sinter strength improved; this is obtained as result of increase in yield of sound sinter and higher sintering speed.
