Warping at edges of prestressed and reinforced concrete pavement
Deformations at corners of prestressed and reinforced concrete slabs were measured to study warping and its effect on strength of pavement for Kuwait International Airport; variables for prestressed pavement were length of slab, concrete strength, and compressive stresses through prestressing forces; for reinforced concrete pavements variables were location at which measurements were taken; observations of vertical movement due to warping at different times and days were recorded and plotted in curves; study for extension of warping along two perpendicular edges meeting at corner.
