Corrosion of airport concrete pavements; meteorological data have shown that under Polish climatic conditions there occur considerable thermal changes; in particular, most undesirable -- as to durability of pavements -- are slight frost, large changes in temperature of ambient air (both above and below freezing point), and level of precipitation; knowledge of varying physical and chemical conditions that deteriorate concrete pavements has constituted proper basis for programming of tests on resistance of concrete against both atmospheric and chemical agents.
