It is described how modern town including some 20 ml of roads, wharf for river barges, floating wharves and service hangar for aircraft, antenna masts and radio stations for Canadian Broadcasting Corp, and houses for 2500 inhabitants were created in area of permanently frozen muskeg and gravel; also provided are 20 room school with hostels to accommodate 800 Eskimo children, 80 bed hospital with nurses and doctors residences, and other buildings.
