Soil structure and strength characteristics of compacted clay under vibratory loading
Strength characteristics of compacted clay subject to vibratory loading of definite ratio of dynamic to static stress intensity at constant frequency, keeping initial soil structure either flocculent or dispersed, are studied; investigation was carried out for optimum moisture content, and is applicable in machine foundation problems and in design of runway and highway pavements subject to repetitional loading.
