Use of special handling equipment, including 105 ft high gantry tower and mobile crane built around bomber chassis in construction of grandstand for Phoenix Trotting Park in Arizona; problem of 500 ft long structure was that 15 concrete girders weighing 120 tons each had to be lifted 80 ft in air, then moved 10 ft sideways, and finally lowered gently into cradles of 70 ft high steel Y-columns; mobile crane used can walk with 85 tons.
