Studies concerning die casting application of Termafond C 46 Italian light metal alloy
After evaluating influence of Si, Fe and Ni on physical, mechanical and structural properties of permanent mold cast alloy C 46, experimental alloy was developed with chemical composition different from original one and containing 2-3% Si, 0.8-1.2% Fe and 1.3-1.7% Ni for production of die cast parts for high temperature service.
