Simplified phase diagrams for cement pastes
New diagram is presented to illustrate transition from cement plus water system to 3 component system of: unhydrated cement, hydrate, and water; diagram can be used to illustrate not only progress of hydration of cement pastes of all possible water-cement ratios, but also to depict restriction of hydration in pastes of low ratios.
