Review of corrosion problems in domestic building is presented with emphasis on behavior of nonferrous metals in various environments; durability of metals in contact with building mortars and with soils is discussed with particular reference to aluminum and zinc; aluminum bungalows; roof coverings; metals as vapor barriers; embedment in building materials; plumbing systems.
