Predictive techniques for water quality-inorganics
Hyperbolic relationship between quality and quantity of water is taken and refined for use on rivers of southwestern United States or of other semi-arid regions; modified Cauchy function is used to fit frequency curves for both quantity and quality; Gumbel's methods of external statistics are applied to frequencies of extremes for quality and inorganic quality; mathematical model for making materials balance analysis of chlorides in rivers of Southwest is presented.
