Influence coefficients are derived for determination of longitudinal edge displacements and transverse moments, from which plate stresses can then be found; solution can also be easily simplified to give membrane analysis; method is extended to include analysis of prestressed folded plates with both straight and curved tendons; sample problems are solved to illustrate application of method.
