Uniformity and plastic properties of 12Kh2N4A steel improve appreciably after electroslag remelting; KhVG, 9Kh18, and EI347 steels are much less contaminated by nonmetallic inclusions after electroslag remelt than normal original steels; oxide inclusions decrease most of all.
