New method of recording durability of rolls in cold rolling mills
Evaluation of service of rolls by thickness of hardened working layer, used up in service, shows that role of operational factors is considerably higher than is usually indicated when giving reasons for final write-off of rolls; new method of evaluation makes it possible to plan with more precision main measures for extending durability of rolls.
