Summary of results of experimental investigation concerning 1-dimensional dispersion in porous media under laminar flow conditions; in agreement with previous investigators, dispersion coefficient correlated with seepage velocity according to relationship indicated; investigation was performed as first part of study of dynamics of seawater intrusion into coastal aquifers.
