Generalization of Terzaghi's bearing capacity formula as most practical way of taking into account dimensions, shape and depth of foundation area, as well as inclination and eccentricity of foundation load; general formula is indicated, and different factors are studied, especially in regard to their dependence on friction angle of soil; as result, approximate empirical formulas and corresponding diagrams are given for bearing capacity, inclination, depth and shape factors.
