Electron-microscope study of contact between aggregate and hardened cement paste
Two variations of method making two-stage replicas were developed for studying in first instance contact between aggregate and hardened cement paste; method, known as impression method, requires about 15 min to make one replica without destruction of specimen; study was made on `model' concrete to eliminate effect of impurities and sand; attempt is made to give morphological interpretation of contact phenomena and to discuss certain difficulties complicating study.
