Ultrasonic echo method for checking quality of various large glass reinforced plastics (GRP) structures and for inspecting bonds; vibration methods recommended for testing quality of bonds between metal, wooden and concrete structures with GRP and other plastics; X-ray method gives good results in determining dimensions of gaps in joints after bonding strips are applied; ultrasonic shadow method for checking quality of small parts and mass-produced articles; ultrasonic resonance method for accurately determining thickness of material at any point in structure.
