Use of cement asbestos pipes in municipal sewer system
West German experience with pipes manufactured in sizes of 100 to 1400 mm diam and in two load carrying strengths; special serrated type Reka rubber couplings are used within pressure formed cement asbestos sleeves; all sections of system, including watertight manholes are made of cement asbestos which is easy to install, can be sawed, has good hydraulic qualities, and is practically corrosion-proof; manhole cross-section design.
