Composite reinforced concrete and glass construction
Translucent concrete consists of reinforced concrete slabs, grids and arches in which glass lenses are inserted extending full depth of concrete in order to secure as great daylight area as is consistent with structural stability; comparison between British and continental systems; notes on bond, shrinkage, and expansion; future developments. (See also - (discussion) p 75-84; Concrete and Constr Eng v 45 n 6 June 1950 p 218-20; Australasian Engr v 43 Feb 1950 p 57-9)
