Report on results of, and conclusions drawn from, experiments with two types of structural elements: (1) members with compression flanges adequately stiffened at both edges; (2) members with compression flanges stiffened only at one edge; results are evaluated in terms of formulas and charts by which strength, deformation, and general behavior of such members can be predicted under load conditions.
