Description of reconditioning of corroded trunk mains, comprising 36 and 48-in. steel pipe, which included cleaning of pipe and applying cement mortar lining; tests revealed that 1/4 in. cement lining is ample protection under ordinary pressures in new mains subject to mild corrosion.
