Preliminary study of reflected glare
Bright light sources, reflected in glossy or semimatt surfaces cause serious complaints; although best palliative is to avoid use of specularly reflecting surfaces, in many situations this is impossible; however, study of factors which give rise to reflected glare demonstrates that chief manifestation of glare is distraction caused rather than discomfort or disability.
