Municipal considerations in transportation planning
It is emphasized that municipal officials must become more aware of transportation plan's magnitude; this can be accomplished through mutual respect for other professions, frequent communications in preliminary design stage, development of revolving right-of-way fund, recognition of engineer's responsibility to help solve social and economic problems caused by his projects, and realistic attitude toward political factors and their effect on implementation.
