Improvement of structural properties of loess loam by using method of artificial salinification; results of investigation on influence of salinification of soil on its deformation properties and its effectiveness on compactibility in field conditions during construction of test embankments; it is established that at 16 to 18% moisture content salty loam has greater deformability in comparison with nonsalty soil; method makes it possible to reduce amount of mechanical work for compaction and to achieve more uniform compaction of compacted layer.
