Reference is made to satisfactory service given by certain concrete roads which were built in 1925 under comprehensive program; following discussion of early specifications, construction of concrete pavement on National Highway in later years is described together with specifications and methods of quality control adopted; reference to some experimental routes constructed under direction of Central Road Research Institute; methods used for rehabilitation of old concrete pavements.
