Analysis of stress, strain and displacement in general n-layered ideally elastic structure (viewed as idealization of road), subjected to axially-symmetric stationary surface loading; analysis leads to efficient method of computing results, in which work increases only proportionately to number of layers; it is written for I.C.T. Atlas Computer, and takes about 0.3 sec/layer; as written, it is limited to total of 24 layers; road is regarded as system of plane parallel layers of infinite horizontal extent, superimposed on half-space.
