Bending of ring resting on elastic foundation; paper is devoted to problem of circular ring with variable cross-section resting on elastic Winkler foundation with variable characteristics; from equilibrium conditions of infinitesimal axis element of ring, geometrical and elastostatical relationship, solving system of differential equations is derived in general case of elastic foundation with four independent subsidence parameters; particular case is also considered of foundation perfectly rigid in one arbitrary direction which varies along axis of ring.
