Hypoelasticity as proposed by C.Truesdell leads to constitutive equation containing dimensionless Cauchy stress tensor and strain rate tensor; notion of nominal stress rate is introduced; depending on whether stress rate or nominal stress rate will be taken as symmetry of stress rate, so-called "C-hypoelasticity" or "N-hypoelasticity" is obtained; it is shown that class of N-hypo-elastic media is included in C-hypoelastic ones.
