Problem of building materials' fatigue in reinforced concrete construction
Fatigue coefficient μ, representing ratio of static strength to fatigue strength, is formulated from considerations of simplified Woehler curve; analysis of test results of author and other workers indicates that value of μ equals 3; fatigue strength of reinforced concrete is therefore 1/3 of its static strength.
