Gas-fired wall heater in basementless house
Investigation by National Bureau of Standards of performance of heater to determine temperature distribution produced by typical gravity circulation of air or by using small booster fan; horizontal and vertical temperature gradients were observed as basis for judging acceptability of this type of heating system for various climates and for houses of different sizes. (See also Engineer v 200 n 5198 Sept 9 1955 p 385)
